About Us

Your loved one deserves to have all the comforts of home – and that’s exactly where we’ll care for them. Since 2003, Shene Nursing Service has been one of the most respected and trusted home health care providers in the Hampton community.

Shene Nursing began with little more than the owner’s love for people and a big heart. Bethany Shene, founder, owner, and nurse, wanted to make a positive, loving difference in the lives of the people she cared for. As the only state-licensed home care agency based in the Hamptons, Shene Nursing staff members go beyond nurturing the physical needs of our elderly and disabled clients. We will engage your loved one mentally and socially, as well, treating them with dignity and respect in the comfort of their own home.

The Shene Difference

At Shene Nursing Service, we combine caring hearts and hands with the latest medical technology to provide the most efficient care possible with our loving touch. While each patient requires a different level of care, they all deserve the highest level of understanding, responsiveness, compassion, and expertise.

Over the years, Shene Nursing has served many families in the Hamptons who need help caring for a loved one. Our highly qualified nurses and certified caregivers provide attentive service and individualized care for you and your family in your home. We work with you, the patient’s doctor, and your loved ones to improve quality of life as well as overall health.

Testimonials

As a result of the compassionate care we deliver, we develop lasting relationships with our clients. Many times we hear from our clients about how the nurses and staff at Shene Nursing Services have helped them. For those of you we hear from, we thank you for passing along your kind words.

Here are some of our favorites:

I would like to thank you for providing my home health-care last weekend. From the standpoint of just making the arrangements, you made it so much easier than any other time I travel. You gave me great confidence ahead of time that everything would go smoothly, especially having the same caregiver every day, and one that could perform all of my care. You have no idea how much that relieves the stress of traveling.

Deep did a great job. She was prompt, very pleasant and very efficient. She was well prepared, reading the care plan ahead of time and learned the routine very quickly. I hardly had to say anything after the first day. My wife, Nancy, also was very pleased, as she really did not have to get involved in my care at all.

Thanks again, we're very grateful.

Cindy is wonderful! What a nice person for my mom. Thanks for sending her!

Especially since today is my anniversary and it is so nice to be spending time with my husband with at least one concern off my mind for the day, so wonderful!

Thanks again
Betsey

I appreciate all of the care and attention that you gave to me this summer. I made a lot of progress and I will continue after I get past this small hurdle. I consider myself fortunate to have met you and hope we will keep in frequent communications. You are a perfect example of how very good things can come of bad things. You are a special angel.

Love
Arnold

I cannot close out this year without letting you know how grateful I am to you and your staff for all that you did not just for my mom, but for me. Were it not for you she would not have been able to come home which is something she was desperate to do. You gave her and us family time together. You relieved an overwhelming burden from my shoulders. The stress was tremendous while trying to keep up a good face to help her through. While it may sound dramatic I really thought I was going to have a nervous breakdown - the hospital pushing and pushing me about getting her out but offering no help or options for home care. The second I said trache to any agency - I was shut down. All I heard was "we don't do that" and the next word was "liability". You stepped up to the plate from the first phone call. I remember asking Mike to check out your agency while I was at the hospital trying to make my way through case managers, social workers and snotty interns. He came back to me and said 'she's the real deal"...I will never forget that. Every step of the way you took the burden off my shoulders - took care of everything. I couldn't believe it - I thought I was dreaming.

Her care was exemplary and I am extremely grateful to you and every single nurse on your staff who took care of her. You were all guardian angels to both of us and from the bottom of my heart I thank you for everything.

Sincerely, thankfully and gratefully,
Pat
